Gama decepcionante de medidas
Es muy decepcionante que el Pilot Sport 5 no se encuentre disponible en una gama más amplia de medidas y concretamente en 205/55/16. Este medida es con la que se obtiene mejor equilibrio entre prestaciones, seguridad, consumo y confort. Por desgracia hoy en día las modas de neumáticos y anchas sobredimensionadas redundan en perjuicio de la lógica y los fabricantes buscan ante todo el factor económico en perjuicio de ese equilibrio ideal. Sería lógico que si es realmente cierto que el Pilot Sport 5 supera en un determinado porcentaje de prestaciones algunas características del PS4, aquel se pudiera encontrar en unas medidas más estándares y lógicas en las cuales como decía predominan el confort y seguridad entre otras.
Demasiada deriva y flancos blandos
Tengo un golf con ruedas 225 45 17 y he pasado de las pilot sport 4 a las 5 y las sensaciones en la condición con estas últimas no me gustan nada. Tienen mucho movimiento en los flancos o laterales del neumático...mucho más que las 4. En mi opinión son peores que las 4 y no digamos de la 4s.

I've always been a fan of the tyres Michelin put out ever since I put a new set of Pilot Sport 2CT on a motorbike, the PS5 has replaced the rears(factory fitted PS4) on my Tesla and is doing very well so far!

Una vez montados saliendo del taller llovia muchísimo y circulando por carreteras con balsas de agua y ni se desliza a 90-100Km/h , se transmiten al volante que agarra evacuando el agua siguiendo la trayectoria que dirijo con el volante sintiendo la tracción delantera y en la frenada se nota como agarran reduciendo muchísimo la distancia de frenado, con unas recuperaciones de velocidad sintiendo la tracción en aceleración al volante.

So far so good
Always used Michelin tyres. Used the ps4 upto now good tyre lasting well. Just fitted the ps5 so hopefully as good or better.
Awesome
PS5 is an awesome tyre. Fitted to VW GOLF GTD, I have had PS4 and the obvious premium rivals, and this tyre is head and shoulders above them for performance. Comfortable, refined and low rolling resistance with excellent dry weather performance. Where they really impressed is wet weather. Excellent grip, resistance to aquaplaning and confidence inspiring. One of the few tyres you can really lean on in the wet. Superb.

Since changing from falkin tyre's I could notice the difference immediately in sound, grip and general driving smoothness and breaking in the wet is very very good.
Don't believe the hype
Over hyped not what people think they are a hankook Ventus V12 Evo K120 is a cheaper and by far a better tyre. Sooner these tyres burn out the better will never buy PS5s again

Very noisy tyre in 205/40 17
I have 205/40 17 on my mk6 Fiesta ST, and they are the loudest tyre i have ever driven, including winter tyres, all year tyres and all terrain tyres. I'm very disappointed with the PS5 from Michelin. The Fiesta is already a loud car with Miltek exhaust, but the tyres can still be heard 😒
